NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting – $190
Students will learn the mechanisms and operation of semi-automatic shotguns, pump shotguns, break action shotguns, and other types of modern shotguns. They will learn about proper grip and shooting positions, mounting the shotgun, hold points, break points, hand and eye dominance, primary vision, sight picture, and follow through.
Students will hone their skills through live fire range exercises.

Students need a pump, semi-automatic shotgun, or break action shotgun and a minimum of 100 rounds of #7 or #8 lead shot (no steel shot); ear protection & eye protection; close-toed shoes/boots, collared shirts; and water or sports drinks to stay hydrated.
You should register at least 14 days in advance of class to allow time for NRA to ship your training materials to us. If less than three people pre-register the class will be cancelled and full deposits refunded. Last minute registrations taken if four people have pre-registered and we have any extra NRA required training materials.
We only consider minors under 18 for training if a parent or guardian takes the training with them. We consider students between the ages of 18 and 21 on a case basis.
Payment with your registration is required to reserve a slot for a class. If you cancel attending more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of a class you’ve registered for there will be a $50 cancellation fee deducted from your refund to cover our administrative costs. Cancellations within 48 hours of a class starting time are subject to a $75 cancellation fee. If you do not cancel or show up for a class your pre-payment is forfeited.
