This two-day class teaches students safe concealment methods and advantages, how to draw from concealment, reaction time considerations, how many shots to fire, defensive accuracy, and legal consequences of using deadly force. It also addresses the physiological and psychological effects of using deadly force.

Students must have their own semi-automatic pistol of at least 9mm, at least two magazines, an outside the waistband belt mounted holster, and a holster magazine. Students may shoot a revolver but must have at least three speed loaders for the revolver. A concealment garment is required that covers the entire pistol while holstered. You also need electronic ear protection and eye protection. You will also need 200 rounds of factory loaded ammunition. Students must take the NRA Personal Protection in the Home Class prior to taking this class.
