This class is eight to ten hours long. You can shoot any caliber rifle between .22LR and a .308 caliber but a .22LR or .223/556 caliber is recommended. Limited rentals rifles will be available on a first reservation basis. You will shoot between 50 and 100 rounds in shooting exercises. Ammunition can be purchased at the range or you can bring factory loaded ammunition for your rifle. No steel core ammunition is permitted. Students working toward the NRA Rifle Instructor Certification must take this class unless they have had prior equivalent training.
